Account and privacy

Delete your account

You can delete your MyLand account whenever you want, at no cost. It's permanent: after that, neither the account nor your progress can be recovered. Here are the three ways to do it and what happens to your data.

In the app

Deleted right away.

  1. Open MyLand and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and open the menu in the header.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. In My profile, tap and choose Delete account.
  5. Confirm it. If you sign in with a password, we'll ask for it; if you sign in with Google, you may need to sign in again.

On the web

No app or password needed.

  1. Open the form and enter the email address for your account.
  2. We'll send you a private link that expires in 10 minutes.
  3. Open it and confirm the deletion.

For security, the message is the same whether or not an account exists with that email. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder.

If you can't use the options above.

  1. Write from your account email to info@myland.es.
  2. Tell us your name or nickname and whether you signed up with Google.
  3. We'll reply within one month at the latest.

Don't send passwords or identity documents. We'll never ask for them by email.

What happens to your data

Deleted

  • Your account and profile: name, nickname, email, photo, description, preferences, and saved location.
  • Your comments, likes, ratings, and reposts.
  • Who you follow and who follows you.
  • Your lands, games, credits, and progress in the eco-game, and any game screenshots you shared.
  • Your notifications, push alerts on your devices, and your activity in the feed and in curiosities.
  • Your sessions: they're closed on all your devices.

Kept

  • Your published photos aren't deleted: they stay on MyLand under a MyLand account, not yours. If you'd rather they disappear, delete them from your profile before deleting the account, or ask us by email.
  • Minimal technical security logs and usage statistics that are no longer linked to your profile, for the periods set out in the privacy policy.
  • Backups are deleted on their normal rotation and aren't used for day-to-day activity.

Before you delete it

  • Review your photosDelete from your profile any posts you don't want to stay on MyLand.
  • Credits and landsCredits, lands, and game progress are lost with the account.
  • Just need a break?You can sign out or turn off notifications and come back whenever you want.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get the account back later?
No. Deletion is permanent. You can create a new account with the same email, but it will start from scratch.
I don't remember my password
Use the option on the web: you only need access to your account email. You can also reset your password from the app's sign-in screen.
I signed up with Google
In the app, we may ask you to sign in with Google again to confirm. On the web, enter the email for your Google account.
How long does it take?
In the app or with the link from the web, right away. By email, we'll reply within one month at the latest, usually much sooner.
